Cornbury Music Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in Great Tew Park in Oxfordshire, England.
History
Cornbury Festival was founded by music promoter Hugh Phillimore.[1]
It was originally set up on Robin Cayzer, 3rd Baron Rotherwick’s Oxfordshire estate, Cornbury Park[2], and has been given the nickname “Poshstock” in national press[3]. The festival moved to Great Tew Park in 2011[4], also home to the Wilderness Festival[5].
The 2017 edition of the festival was originally announced as the last[6], but this decision was subsequently reversed[7]
