Corbin Van Arsdale (born December 17, 1969), is an attorney in Austin, Texas, who is a Republican former member of the Texas House of Representatives.[1] From 2003 to 2008, he represented District 130 outside Houston in northwestern Harris County. He resigned a few weeks before the expiration of his last term in office.[2] In 2014, he was elected a non-partisan position, the city council of Cedar Park in the Austin area.

Background

A Dallas native, Van Arsdale, a fifth generation Texan, graduated from Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, Texas.[3] He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he lettered in baseball, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law. He is the former general counsel of Boyer, Inc.[1] He is Vice President and General Counsel at Associated General Contractors-Texas Building Branch.[3]

Van Arsdale and his second wife, Stephanie Leigh Van Arsdale (born 1972), have five children, his three, Madeleine, Brooks, and Dawn, and her two children, Dylan and Savannah.
