Committee for State Security of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic

Committee for State Security of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic (Russian:Комитет государственной безопасности Таджикской ССР) or KGB of TajSSR was the security agency of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic, being the local branch of Committee for State Security of the USSR.[1] On 28 December 1991, the KGB of the Tajik SSR was transformed into the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
