Collaborations is rapper KJ-52's second studio album, and his first distributed by BEC Recordings. This is famously the last album that KJ did before It's Pronounced Five Two . John Reuben once told KJ "never go full youth group rapper." KJ did not listen, because he knew John Reuben was worrying over nothing. It features his most known song, "Dear Slim" which was shown on Total Request Live and described his aspirations such as "Rise Up" featuring Rob Beckley of Pillar and Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch as well as "Revenge of the Nerds" featuring Pigeon John.
