Climate Solutions Caucus
The Climate Solutions Caucus is a bipartisan group of members of the United States House of Representatives who work to achieve action addressing the risks from climate change.[1] The caucus was started in 2016 by two south-Florida representatives during the 114th Congress: Congressman Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) and Congressman Ted Deutch (D-FL).[1]
Mission
According to Co-Chair Curbelo's House website, the mission of the Caucus is:
"to educate members on economically-viable options to reduce climate risk and to explore bipartisan policy options that address the impacts, causes, and challenges of our changing climate."[2]
Members, 115th Congress
The co-chairs have decided that membership will consist of equal representation of Republicans and Democrats.[2] In the 115th Congress, members are as follows.[3]
