Climacium dendroides, which has the common name tree climacium moss,[1] is a moss species within the family Hypnaceae, in the class Bryopsida, subclass Bryidae and order Hypnales.
Ecology
This species occurs on the floor of humus-rich woods, the edges of lakes and peat lands, and swamps.[2][3]
In culture
Climacium dendroides was named Moss of the Year in 2017 by the Latvian Botanists' AssociatIon.[4]
