Clics modernos (pronounced [klikz moˈðeɾnos]; Spanish for "modern clicks") is the second solo studio album by Argentine musician Charly García, released on November 5, 1983 on SG Discos and Interdisc. In an interview, García called Clics Modernos the best album he recorded as a solo artist, and with the best and most modern sound of the era in Argentina.

Overview

After his first solo tour by Argentina in 1982, Charly García began a new project with his manager Daniel Grinbank. García want to travel to New York to recording the next album, with Pedro Aznar, who lived on NYC meanwhile played as Pat Metheny sideman.

García presented Clics Modernos at the Luna Park stadium on December 15, 16, 17 and 18 with all sold-out shows, together with Fito Páez, Pablo Guyot, Willy Iturri, Alfredo Toth and Fabiana Cantilo as backing band and Daniel Melingo and Gonzo Palacios as guests.

In 2008, Rolling Stone Argentina stated that "for many, [it is] Charly's best album, a record that found him on a superlative level."[4]
