Claudio Guarino

Claudio Guarino (born January 1966 in Cesa, Italy, died February 2004 in London, United Kingdom [1]) was a multimedia visual artist. He worked in video, performance, film, and photography. His characteristic works were operatic performances in gallery spaces focusing on the visual rather than the musical aesthetic. Claudio studied at Goldsmiths College and the Royal College of Art in London. At Goldsmiths, he was awarded the Hamad Butt Award [2] in 1997. Also, he was selected for newcontemporaries98 [3][4] in 1998.
