Claudine Doury

Claudine Doury (born 1959) is a French photographer living in Paris.

Life and career

Doury was born in 1959 in Blois, France.

Her first monograph, Peuples de Sibérie, was published in 1999. Since then she has published Artek, un été en Crimée (2004), Loulan Beauty (2007) and Sasha (2011).

She received the Leica Oskar Barnack award in 1999,[1][2] the World Press Photo Award in 2000[2] and the Prix Niepce in 2004.[2][3]

In 2006, she exhibited Beyond the Steppes at Rencontres d'Arles.[2]

Doury has been a member of Agence Vu since 1991.[2]
