Clare Dimyon is a LGBT+ rights campaigner. In 2010 she was awarded the Member of the British Empire for "services to promoting the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in central and eastern Europe".[1]

In 2016 Dimyon spoke to the press about her experience as a survivor of sexual assault in 1984, in support of a 14 year old who was abducted and raped in Oxford.[2][3]
