Claire Vallance
Claire Vallance is Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Oxford and Tutorial Fellow in Physical Chemistry at Hertford College.[1][2] In collaboration with professor Mark Brouard and others, she created the PImMS (Pixel Imaging Mass Spectrometry) sensor, claimed to be "the fastest camera in the world", which is used for time-of-flight particle imaging.[3] Vallance is also an accomplished musician.[4]
