Claire Doherty

Claire Doherty MBE is director of Arnolfini gallery in Bristol, England.

She was appointed in 2017, having previously been director of Situations, where she had worked since 2002 as it grew from being an entity within the University of the West of England to become an independent organisation and, since 2015, a part of Arts Council England National Portfolio although both Situations and Arnolfini lost their NPO in 2018.[1][2][3]

In 2015 she was appointed MBE "For services to the Arts in South West England".[4][5]

In 2018 the Bristol Post included her in its list of "The 100 most influential women in the West [of England]".[6]
