Civil Aviation High School (Bengali: সিভিল এভিয়েশন উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়) is a school situated near Airport Road, Kurmitola, Dhaka, Bangladesh.[1] It was established in 1978. It is recognized by the Education of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board of Dhaka. Currently, it is directed by Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh.[2] In this school, there are total 52 teachers, 15 staff and 2365 students, Boys are 1190 & girls are 1175.[3]

Education

Students from KG class to class X read here. There are three groups in this school for secondary examination - Science, Business Studies and Arts. Arts group is only for girls. Students take Secondary School Certificate and Junior School Certificate from this school. Education qualities are high. The ICT (Information and communications technology) classes are taken into computer lab which is authored by South Korean Education company.

Festivals

The school celebrates annual sports each year in the January along with Parade and Display. The ceremony is enjoyed and highly appreciated by all of the people of the area. The school organizes an annual function on 21 February to observe the International Mother Language Day. It holds programs on the occasion of Pohela Boishakh, Independence Day, and Victory Day. On this day, students participate in different activities like Art or Composition contests.

Admission

Applicants have to pass a written test and an oral test in order to qualify. Admission tests for Two - Ninth grade are generally held in every January. The admission exam result publishes on the next day in school or official website.
