Route A22 is a Hong Kong bus route operated by Citybus, with the Cityflyer brand. The route connects between Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) and Lam Tin Station. The main mid-way districts include Kwun Tong, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon City, To Kwa Wan, Hung Hom and Jordan. The route aims to serve passengers in Kowloon (East) and (Central).
History
- 6 July 1998: Commencement of Route A22 together with the opening of Hong Kong International Airport.
- 17 December 2001: Provision of weekday morning special departure from Lam Tin with an additional stop at Cathay City.
- 5 December 2007: Stop establishment at Airport (Terminal 2) for Airport bound.
- 31 January 2010: Re-routing to Stonecutters Bridge and Nam Wan Tunnel instead of Tsing Kwai Highway and Cheung Tsing Tunnel, being the first batch of franchised bus routes passing through Stonecutters Bridge.
- 19 December 2012: Cityflyer Real-time Next Bus Arrival Time service available on all Cityflyer routes for passengers to search the estimated time of arrival of the routes.
