The City Hall Annex is a 210 ft (64 m) high-rise in Jacksonville, Florida, located in the Northbank area of downtown. Completed in 1960 as City Hall, the building's design was symbolic of the city's accession to modernity.[1] Designed by the architecture firm Reynolds, Smith & Hills, today it serves as a prime example of Mid-century modern architecture. Main civic operations have since moved to their current home in the St. James Building.[2]
