Citicorp Railmark Inc (trading as Citirail Express or CREX) is a company that leases locomotives to other railroads as needed.

History

The company is a subsidiary of Citibank, National Association and was formerly known as Citicorp Aerolease.[1]

Locomotives

Ctirail currently rosters 125 ES44AC's. Locomotives include the following in the GE Evolution Series:

  • 15 ES44AC units, numbered 1201-1215, delivered in December 2012. BNSF is leasing all of these for 2018.
  • 50 ES44AC units, numbered 1301-1350, delivered in late 2013. BNSF is leasing all of these for 2018.
  • 35 ES44AC units, numbered 1401-1435, delivered in mid-late 2014. BNSF is leasing all of these for 2018.
  • 25 ES44AC units, numbered 1501-1525, delivered in mid 2015. Ferromex rented these 25 Citirail locomotives in 2016. They are now leased to Canadian National until their new GEVO units arrive.
