The Circle City Derby Girls (CCDG) is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Founded in 2008, the league currently consists of two teams which compete against teams from other leagues. Circle City is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).[1]
History
The league initially bouted at the Ellenberger Park Ice Rink,[2] but this closed, and they moved to The Forum at Fishers.[3] It has close links with Men's Roller Derby Association league, the Race City Rebels.[4]
Circle City was accepted into the Women's Flat Track Derby Association Apprentice Program in April 2011,[5] and became a full member of the WFTDA in June 2012.[6]
