Chu Yiu-ming

Reverend Chu Yiu-ming (Chinese: 朱耀明, born 10 January 1944 in Hong Kong) is the minister of Chai Wan Baptist Church in Hong Kong, and the chairman of Hong Kong Democracy Development Network.[1]

He is a well-known human rights activist in both Hong Kong and Mainland China for helping several protesters who fled from Mainland China following the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989.[2] He is one of the founders of Occupy Central Campaign to strive for universal suffrage of Hong Kong Chief Executive Election in 2017.[3]
