Chrysochus is a genus of leaf beetles in the subfamily Eumolpinae. It is known from North America, Europe and Asia.

Taxonomy

The generic name Chrysochus Chevrolat in Dejean, 1836 is a conserved name. It had been threatened by the name Eumolpus Kugelann in Illiger, 1798; an application was made to ICZN in 2010 to conserve Chrysochus Chevrolat in Dejean, 1836 and other names by suppressing Eumolpus Kugelann in Illiger, 1798, which was accepted by ICZN in 2012.[1][2]
