Christopher Nevill, 6th Marquess of Abergavenny

Christopher George Charles Nevill, 6th Marquess of Abergavenny, (born 23 April 1955)[1] is a British peer and current head of the Neville family. He is the only surviving son of the late Lord Rupert Nevill and his wife Lady Camilla Anne Evelyn Wallop. Lord Abergavenny succeeded to the Marquessate on the death of his uncle, the late 5th Marquess of Abergavenny.[2]

Education

He was educated at Harrow School.[3]

Personal life

He is the son of the late Lord Rupert Nevill (second son of Major Guy Larnach-Nevill, 4th Marquess of Abergavenny and Isabel Nellie Larnach) and Lady Camilla Anne Evelyn Wallop (daughter of Gerard Vernon Wallop, 9th Earl of Portsmouth and Mary Lawrence Post).

He married Venetia V. Maynard, daughter of Fredrick Gerald Maynard in 1985. They had twins, George Rupert Gerard and Sophie Alice Augusta, born 27 June 1990; however, George died later the same year, on 15 September 1990.[4]
