Christine Volkmann

Christine Katharina Volkmann (born 1960) is a German business administration academic and holds the UNESCO Chair for Entrepreneurship and Intercultural Management, an endowed professorship funded by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, at the University of Wuppertal.[1][2] She was formerly married to Walter Kohl and was the daughter-in-law of former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl; they have a son, Johannes.[3][4]

She earned her doctorate in strategic business planning in 1989. Since 2005 she has held the UNESCO Chair for Entrepreneurship and Intercultural Management; her chair has been affiliated with the Schumpeter School of Business and Economics at the University of Wuppertal since 2008.[5]
