Christian Lucatero (born June 17, 1997) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Liga MX club Necaxa.

Career

Lucatero joined Houston Dynamo's academy in 2010.[1] On August 18, 2015, Lucatero opted to sign a homegrown player contract with the club, opting to play professionally and passing on an offer to play college soccer at the Oregon State University.[2]

Lucatero was sent on loan to Houston's United Soccer League affiliate club Rio Grande Valley FC Toros in March 2016.[3] He made his professional debut on April 12, 2016, coming on as a 86th-minute substitute during a 2-2 draw against Seattle Sounders FC 2.[4]

After Houston declined Lucatero's option at the end of the 2017 season,[5] he later signed with Liga MX side Club Necaxa on 9 January 2018.[6]

Personal life

Lucatero holds a Mexican passport, as both his parents were born in Mexico.[7]
