Christina Chrissy "Monroe" Castranda was an official cast member on VH1 show Love & Hip Hop: New York. A notable reality television personality on the show Love & Hip Hop: New York, Chrissy moved to New York at 19 and started escorting herself until finally starting her own prostitution ring and at the age of 29 after signing a modeling and brand ambassador contract with Pabst Brewing Company. She subsequently launched her own company called LeJeu Entertainment which is a full spectrum development talent and modeling agency.

Personal and professional life

While on the VH1 show Love & Hip Hop: New York for Season 5, Chrissy Monroe was dating Chink Santana.[1]

In September 2015, Chrissy Monroe joined the contributing staff of Hip Hop Weekly with a column called "Love Talk" where readers and subscribers write in to ask Chrissy advice on relationships and life experiences.

Philanthropy

In 2016 Chrissy Monroe launched her own non-profit called "Survive to Thrive Global" structured to provide resources and hope for men and women who are living with and survived domestic violence.[2] Ms. Monroe has also served on the board of directors of Celebrity Cat Walk, a non profit where top-tier celebrities lend their time, talent and resources raising funds and awareness for National Animal Rescue. Chrissy Monroe shares this role alongside celebrities such as Jamie Foxx, Nicole Richie and Melissa Rivers.
