Christopher Herndon IV (born February 23, 1996) is an American football tight end for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Miami.[1]

College career

Herndon attended and played college football at the University of Miami from 2015 to 2017.[2] During his career, he recorded 86 receptions for 1,048 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns.[3]

Professional career

Herndon was drafted by the New York Jets in the fourth round (107th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.[4] In the Jets' Week 2 game against the Miami Dolphins, he recorded his first two professional receptions, which went for 30 yards, in the 20–12 loss.[5]
