Chloe Eudaly (born 1969/70) is a politician and former bookstore owner[1] from the U.S. state of Oregon. Before being elected to Portland's City Council in 2016,[2] Eudaly was known as a renters rights activist and founder of Portland's Independent Publishing Resource Center.

She was elected to City Council in the November 2016 election. She succeeded Commissioner Steve Novick, who lost to Eudaly after losing popularity over a controversial street fee.[3]

Personal life

Eudaly grew up near Forest Grove, Oregon, moving to the Portland suburbs at age 9. She attended Tigard High School, but dropped out and moved to Portland in 1988. Eudaly opened her bookstore, Reading Frenzy, in 1994.[4]

Eudaly resides in the Woodlawn neighborhood, and has a son, Henry.[4]
