Chinese unification refers to the potential political unification of China and Taiwan on either side of Taiwan Strait as one sovereign state.

Historical era
- Qin's wars of unification, the first time most territories of the region that later became known as "China" came to be united in one empire
- Jin dynasty, which unified China from the division of Three Kingdoms after Han
- Sui dynasty, which unified China from the approximately 300 years division of Sixteen Kingdoms and Northern and Southern dynasties after the short unification of Jin
- Yuan dynasty, the Mongol empire that unified China by the conquest of Jurchen Jin, Western Xia, Tibet, Western Liao, Dali and Southern Song successively
- Qing dynasty, the Manchu people that unified China by the conquest of Shun dynasty and Southern Ming successively
