The Chile national basketball team is controlled by the Federación de Básquetbol de Chile. It is affiliated to FIBA and his zone confederation FIBA Americas.
In the 1950s, Chile had one of the finest basketball national teams in the world. Today, the team primarily competes at the regional level, at the South American Basketball Championship.
