The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court (Urdu: منصف اعظم عدالت عالیہ لاہور) initials as CJP LHC), is the head of Lahore High court system of Province Punjab, Pakistan and the chief judge of the Lahore High Court of Pakistan. The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court is one of the most senior Member Judge of the Lahore High Court of Pakistan.
The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court is the Chief Administrative Officer of Province's Court System, supervising provincial judicial policies and conducting judicial business in the provincial high court. Nominations for the appointment of Chief Justice of Lahore High Court is made by Prime Minister of Pakistan and final appointments are confirmed by the President of Pakistan.
The first Chief Justice of Lahore High Court was Henry Plowden. The current Chief Justice is Muhammad Yawar Ali, incumbent since Feb 8, 2018.[2]
