Saint Charbel (died 107 AD) is an early 2nd-century Christian martyr venerated by the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches. He was killed during the Persecution of Christians under the Roman Emperor Trajan.[1] His life is described in the 5th-century Acts of Sharbel.
