Channa Perera is an award winning Sri Lankan film actor and director.[2] Perera was educated at the Royal College Colombo. Channa is married a Sri Lankan actress Gayathri Dias, and they have two daughter - Malsha Perera and Duwasha Perera. He is one of Sri Lanka's most popular film directors who introduced Pooja Umashankar to Sri Lankan film industry through 2006 blockbuster Anjalika.
