Pol.Gen. Chakthip Chaijinda (Thai: จักรทิพย์ ชัยจินดา; RTGS: Chakthip Chaijinda; born 19 October 1959) is a commissioner-general of the Royal Thai Police[1].

Chakthip graduated from Vajiravudh College, Royal Thai Police Cadet Academy and study additional for Post Blast Investigation course and FBI courses in FBI Academy, Nevada, USA.[2]

Following the military coup of 22 May 2014, Chakthip was appointed to the National Legislative Council (NLC).[3]

In National Police Policy Committee that held on 14 August 2015, with General Prawit Wongsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense choose Pol.Gen. Chakthip Chaijinda as the 11th Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police replace Pol.Gen. Somyot Poompanmoung that will retire in 30 September 2015.[4]
