Ceryx sphenodes is a moth of the subfamily Arctiinae. It was described by Meyrick in 1886. It is found in New Guinea and Australia (Queensland).[1]

The moth is about 20 mm. Adults are black with transparent windows in the wings and a black and yellow banded abdomen. The hindwings are only about half the span of the forewings.[2]
