Rammeacris kiangsu (Tsai, P., 1929)[1][2][3]

Ceracris kiangsu[4] is a species of grasshoppers in the subfamily Oedipodinae, sometimes called the yellow-spined bamboo locust.[5][6] It occurs in Indo-China and southern China, where it may become a locally significant agricultural pest.[1][2][3][7][8][9][10][11] No subspecies are listed in the Catalogue of Life.[5]

Mud-puddling behaviour has been noted: these insects are attracted to the sodium and ammonium ions in human urine.[12]
