The Centre for Research and Information (CRI) is a Bengali political party foundation associated with but independent of the centre-left Awami League (AL). The foundation's headquarters are located in Mirpur Road, Dhanmondi near Sher-e-Bangla Nagor.[1][2][3][4]

Organization

The Centre for Research and Information is the first and only non-profit political organizations in Bangladesh. With numerous development projects and fosterage of international exchange of opinion, the foundation supports youth engagement, democratized debate, empowerment of citizens and promoting policy awareness. It works to bring politics closer to the people, particularly to the young people.

  • Young Bangla and CRI: The Young Bangla Programme comprises the several schemes, acting as a flexible space for the youth, thousands of individuals and youth-led organizations, supporting them with resources and capacity enhancement trainings.[5][6]

  • United Bangla: Promoting and engaging for national and cultural unity.
  • Green Bangla: Research on climate-related societal impacts, vulnerability and prompting international global environmental change.
  • Young Bangla: Create opportunities for young person, working with them to build resilience, promote inclusion and ultimately empower them to overcome disadvantage.
  • Tech Bangla: Improving online infrastructure and making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology.
