Celeste Katz is a New York-based senior political reporter for Glamour.[1] She is also a co-host[2] of "Driving Forces" on WBAI-FM New York radio and a guest host[3] for Sirius XM satellite radio.

Prior to joining Condé Nast in April, 2018, Katz was a senior politics writer for Newsweek.[4] She began appearing as a host on Sirius XM a year earlier, filling in on three-hour live talk programs including "The David Webb Show" and "Patriot Tonight."

Previously, Katz was senior political correspondent for Mic. She covered the 2016 presidential election and co-hosted[5] "Special Relationship," an international podcast jointly presented with The Economist and recognized by the Poynter Institute.[6]

Before joining Mic,[7] Katz was a political correspondent, columnist and blogger[8] for the New York Daily News from 2000 to 2015. Her assignments included stints at City Hall and the State Capitol, and her reporting spanned four presidential, gubernatorial and mayoral elections.

She graduated Brown University with a BA in International Relations and was an executive editor and later an alumni trustee of the Brown Daily Herald.[9] She started her professional reporting career at the Providence Journal in 1995. During her five-year tenure, she wrote government, law enforcement and human interest stories as well as a pop culture column.
