Casey the Cop

Casey the Cop is a short humor page created by Henry Boltinoff for DC Comics.

Casey the Cop appeared sporadically in Action Comics, Detective Comics and Batman comics from 1947 to 1964. Usually a single page or half-page, it was used as filler. DC Comics history was recalled when Casey the Cop was cited as one of the names in Rip Hunter's lab in 52 Week Six.

In September 2011, The New 52 rebooted DC's continuity. In this new timeline, a Metropolis policeman called "Casey" has appeared in a minor role in a few issues of Action Comics, usually with Detective Blake yelling orders at him.[1]
