Carol Lindsey

Carol Lindsey (born 26 March 1955) is an American former handball player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics.[1]

Carol (or "Coke" as she is otherwise known) was recruited by the United States Team Handball Association while playing basketball at Purdue University. Lindsey successfully made the US Handball team set to compete in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, which the US boycotted. Four years later, Lindsey competed for the US in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. She is a 1973 graduate of Rockville High School, in Parke County, Indiana[2], where she played women's basketball and many other sports.
