José Carlos Alves Ferreira Pinto (born 2 March 1973) is a Portuguese professional football coach and former player. He last managed Académica de Coimbra.

Career

Pinto was formed as a footballer on his hometown Paços de Ferreira and started his professional career at Rebordosa, who was at the time evolving in the Portuguese third tier.

He had a long career by playing in many prestigious clubs in the Segunda Liga, which included Chaves, Feirense, Naval and others.

Managerial career

On 1 July 2016, he was appointed as manager of his hometown club F.C. Paços de Ferreira.[1]
