Carina Nicolette Wiese (born 26 February 1968) is a German actress who was born in Dresden, East Germany,[1] and did her classical training as an actress at the Theaterhochschule Leipzig. She is said to have fine riding and fencing skills, and is fluent in Russian and English.

Career

Having been a member of the ensemble of the accredited theatre "Schauspielhaus Leipzig" from 1991 to 1993, Wiese also appeared onstage in Germany's capital, Berlin, and her home-town, Dresden. She has performed in radio dramas, feature films and a variety of popular German TV shows of different genres.

Wiese portrayed the supporting role of Andrea Schäfer in Alarm für Cobra 11 – Die Autobahnpolizei for nearly ten years. She returns occasionally as a guest star.

She has also established herself as an acting teacher.

Personal life

Her son, Samual, was born in 1992.
