Carabus masuzoi is a species of ground beetle, in the family of Carabidae. It is endemic to Taiwan, and is first found in mid-altitude areas of central Taiwan. Its body is black colored with longitudinal indents on its elytra.
The variation in shapes of its prothorax and in male genital sizes from different types of habitats was discussed in a research article appeared in a Entomological Society of America journal in 2018. [1]
