CapFriendly is the name of a Canadian hockey website, which specializes in the business aspect of the NHL. The site contains the contract information of NHL players and coaches, as well as explanations on specific aspects of the NHL collective bargaining agreement. CapFriendly was one of the websites that emerged following the closure of the website CapGeek (others included General Fanager and HockeysCap).
The site
CapFriendly launched in May, 2015, shortly after the launch of General Fanager and HockeysCap. On February 3, 2016, it was announced that CapFriendly.com and HockeysCap.com would be merged into a single website.[2] The merged site incorporated aspects of both websites. The new site has retained the CapFriendly name and URL.
