Camargo, Mississippi

Camargo is a ghost town in Monroe County, Mississippi, United States.

Camargo was located at 34°04′15″N 88°38′55″W / 34.07083°N 88.64861°W / 34.07083; -88.64861[1] on the banks of Town Creek.

Carmargo was named by veterans of the Mexican–American War for Camargo, Tamaulipas, a mustering point.
