Calina Lawrence is an activist and musician.[1][2] She supports the "Mni Wiconi" (Water is Life) movement led by the Standing Rock Sioux, the #NoLNG253 movement led by the Puyallup Tribe, and Native treaty rights.[3]

She is a member of the Suquamish Tribe.[2]

In 2016 she earned a B.A. in Performing Arts and Social Justice with honors from the University of San Francisco.[4]

In 2018 she attended the 75th Golden Globe Awards as a guest of Shailene Woodley; they first met at Standing Rock while protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline.[2][1]
