Location of Caledonia Springs in Ontario.

Caledonia Springs is a community in the northwest of the municipality of The Nation, Prescott and Russell United Counties in eastern Ontario, Canada. It is part of the National Capital Region and is in the geographic county of Caledonia.[1]

County Road 20 forms a 90 degree angle heading north and east from the settlement. The nearest named communities are Ritchance in the township of Champlain to the north, and Caledonia Front to the east. A tributary of the Ruisseau des Atocas flows through the community.

Caledonia Springs was once the site of one of the best hotels on the CPR. People would come from Montreal or Ottawa to enjoy the country and take the natural spring waters. There was a large CPR hotel, called the Grand Hotel, and a 800-acre resort property. The town prospered from 1875 to 1915, when the Grand Hotel was closed. The last hotel in the town closed in 1955. Nothing is left now but a bike trail (the Prescott and Russell Recreational Trail) and a sign.
