Cadwaladr Cesail

Cadwaladr Cesail (fl. 1620) was a Welsh poet. He is believed to have lived at Y Gesail Gyfarch, in Caernarfonshire. He wrote cywyddau and englynion in praise of, or on the death of, members of various well known families, such as the Bodwrda family of Caernarvonshire (descended from Trahaearn Goch, Lord of Cymydmaen). It is thought at least seventeen of his cywydd poems and nine of his englyn poems may still survive. [1]
