47 Capricorni (47 Cap), also known by its variable star designation of AG Capricorni (AG Cap) or its Bayer designation of c2 Capricorni (c2 Cap),[5] is an M-type giant pulsating star in the constellation Capricornus. It is approximately 1200 light years from Earth, and has an apparent magnitude that varies between 5.90 and 6.14.
