C. T. Abdurahim

C. T. Abdurahim (Malayalam:സി.ടി. അബ്ദുറഹിം) is a writer, religious scholar and educator.

Life and work

C. T. Abdurahim was born in the village of Chennamangallur in 1945. After studying religion for ten years, he left to continue his studies in Qatar in 1972. After completing his studies, he joined Qatar Police and accompanied the Director for Religious Affairs and Cultural Revival Department, Sheikh Ansari to India.

In 1982 he left Qatar and came back to India and with the help of friends, set-up Dayapuram Educational and Cultural Centre. For the last 31 years, he has been coming to Dayapuram everyday including on Sundays and working on improving the quality of this organization.^[1]

Javed Anand called C. T. Abdurahim "the think tank of anti-Islamist movement among Muslims".
