× Burrageara, abbreviated Burr. in the horticultural trade,[1] is the nothogenus for intergeneric hybrids between the orchid genera Cochlioda, Miltonia, Odontoglossum and Oncidium (Cda. x Milt. x Odm. x Onc.). It was grown for the first time by the American Albert Burrage in 1927.

This is one of the easiest orchids. One of the most beautiful too. This orchid has a wide spectrum of requirements, because it was born by mixing four genera. Grow these orchids in bright light but out of direct sunshine. Early morning sun will be appreciated, but it’s not absolutely necessary for a re bloom. This orchid will not tolerate hard water, as its more prone to root burns caused by salt built up’s, than other hardier orchids. Water just as the media approaches dryness, but never let it completely dry for more than one day. It thrives in high humidity. Never place near a radiator.
