Bukowiec [buˈkɔvjɛt͡s] is a village in Świecie County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland.[1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Bukowiec. It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) west of Świecie and 39 km (24 mi) north-east of Bydgoszcz.

The village has a population of 1,210. Now in Bukowiec lives famous gangster Wieslaw Ziolkowski, pseudo "Kruszyna" or "Daj 50 groszy kuhfa".
