Bucculatrix brunnescens is a moth in the Bucculatricidae family. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Maine and South Dakota.
The wingspan is 6.5 mm. The forewings are whitish with a slight ocherous tinge and dusted with scattered brownish ocherous scales. The hindwings are pale greyish, faintly ocherous tinged. Adults have been recorded on wing in July.[2]
